Another game were we had to dig deep to grab another massive 3 points.

Take nothing away from Daisy Hill who were quality first half but from our point of view we was awful in the opening forty five minutes individually and as a team.

We went behind to daft error with our two centre halfs disjointed and keeper in no mans someone had to take on the job of dealing with a high ball and no one did and it was knocked home to get us of to a shocking start after three minutes.

We had a great chance to get level with Louis Austin smashing the bar from close range and we had a few other moments with the wind causing issues but in truth we could have been 3/4 down at the break.

HT 1-0

A change at half time looked to have the desired effect with us coming out much brighter but we still found ourselves going further behind with Josh Livo spilling one for a simple tap in.

That second goal for Daisy Hill seen us react more like the Breck we no and it was a quick fire brace from Ste Milne that pulled us level.

His first strike beating the keeper for pace and his second came after some quality work from Jamie Clark who jinked his way inside and laid it of for Ste who fired home another cracker.

We was looking good going forward and more assured at the back but another moment of madness see a penalty given away which was dispatched to put us behind once again.

Within a minute that was cancelled out with a bullet of a header from Liam Morris being steered home after a equally bulleted ball from Ozzy.

The games winner was a moment of brilliance with Paul Mooney floating a outside of the boot ball over the top for Ste Milne who’s run was timed to perfection and after two touches to set himself he sent it home into the bottom far corner to rap up a 45 minute hat trick.

A few nervey moments towards the end of the game that we had to see out and both sides finished the game with ten men for some handbags late on.

FT 4-3

We’re always honest with our performances and the lads no today we wasn’t good enough with a few individual performances being way below par but again this group of lads showed the fight and desire needed at this stage of the season to get the result and they get credit from me for that but to stay on course for promotion/title we have to make sure we back to our best next week away at St Helens Town.

MOM went to Ste Milne who came of the bench today and it’s fair to say won us the game with his second half performance with some first class finishing just when we needed it most.
