o many words you can say about that performance tonight but simply not good enough will do for social media.

Out fought and battled is the main theme and that is simply not acceptable for any Breck side of mine.

Weathered the early storm and hit the post but then a clanger gifts Pilks a goal and we then play huff and puff football.

Had plenty of good moments throughout the game with Louis Austin having the fullback he was up against substituted at half time but we just didn’t capitalise on anything in the final third till late on when the returning Luke Duffy come of the bench to grab us a consolation goal.

For me the only crumb of comfort tonight we stay top of the league and we have to take the positive from being there after five games as this time last year we only have 5 points so we knuckle down now and go again.

We get the chance to bounce back with a Bank Holiday Double home header as we play Chadderton and St Helens Saturday & Monday respectively.
