After a largly dominate sixty minutes we shockingly shipped four in a calamitous thirty-minute spell at Padiham.
Thought Padiham started the brighter with us a little sloppy with the ball but as soon as we got to grips with it our hosts were penned in for the best part of the half.
We had 4 or 5 headers from close range that either skimmed the post or looped over the bar, plenty of snapshots (weak) and tons of possession, and it looked like only a matter of time, but we went in all level at the break.
HT 0-0
Second half was more of the same for the first 15 minutes, but we did start giving silly fouls away to let Padiham havw moments, but it was from a Breck attack we found ourselves behind, and it was something we told the lads to guard against at the break which is massively frustrating.
The second came from a short corner and the third and fourth were just gifts via pure sloppiness.
FT 0-4
A shipping of goals we never saw coming after looking solid for the last few weeks, but you simply have to take one of the many chances before it comes back to bite you, and yesterday we were more than bitten.
Three defenders on the bench tells the story of the squad at this moment in time, and it’s something we have to address pretty quickly.
The Probe Services MOM went to Liam Morris who tried to drive us on and looked the most creative player once again.
Outstanding away support backing us once again and sadly that last half hour didn’t make it good viewing for all who travelled, we will do all we can to put them smiles back on faces when we host Mossley on Wednesday night down at the Anny.
We Go Again.
Up The Breck.
