Sadly another poor performance on Tuesday night going down 2-0 at Witton Albion.
First half wasn’t a great spectacle from both sides Witton taking the lead from another set piece not being dealt with.

HT 0-1

Second half another set piece and another clanger costing us for the Albion seconds goal, Alex Brown dropping a simple cross on the goal line for a tap in.

A late rally with substitutes Danny McKenna & Will McNulty looking lively down the left, the result seen Luke Gill go close followed by Lucas Wilson hitting the crossbar with a looping header, but that’s as good as it got with a way below par team performance being easily beaten on the night (hurts to say that).

FT 0-2

Plenty of frustration with the performance and yes we can bemoan the fact we have 2/3 guaranteed starters missing, but that is no excuse for lads not being able to step up when the opportunity presents itself.

The Probe Services MOM went to Will McNulty on debut, a cameo performance full of promise from Will.

As always we thank those who travelled with us on a damp night in every aspect, and we will look to put smiles back on faces with an FA Cup upset on Saturday afternoon when we host Chester FC.

We Go Again.
