A outstanding team performance yesterday seen us beat Vauxhall Motors 4-0.
We had an excellent tempo from minute one putting motors on the back foot, and we had a glorious chance to back up the good start when a penalty was awarded for handball, Sam Burns stepped up and seen his penalty saved low down.
Theo was forced into action producing two classy reaction saves from close range which proved to be massive as not long after we got that all important first goal.
Elliott Hughes showing great reaction coming in from the left found a yard and absolutely smashed home a great strike leaving the keeper with no chance.
We were looking dangerous, and the pressure told and when a beautiful Dan Lowey delivery from the right found Jordan Barrow his glancing header sailed into the far corner.
Motors had there moments, but that was a quality 45 minute showing from the lads.
HT 2-0
It was more of the same from the lads in the second half, and it near got of to a flyer when Lewis Buckley crashed one against the post after a great bit of skill on the turn, and it was Bucko who turned provider for the third laying a delightful ball for Sam Burns who had acres to run into, and he took his goal well crashing it of the inside of the post.
Alex Chehera started to come into the game more, and he had a few opportunities from the right-hand side before the game was wrapped up when ex Motors man Nathan Corness won a tussle just inside the box and sent one home with his weaker left foot.
A dominant showing from the Breck.
FT 4-0
A performance similar to what we have seen many times early on in the season and as we now go three games unbeaten hopefully this performance renews the lad's confidence of how good we can be when we turn up and want it all over the pitch.
The MOM went to Frazer Cookson who put in a tremendous performance not losing many battles and was rock solid throughout.
Another good crowd down at the Anny and treated to a nice finish to the Easter weekend and in glorious sunshine for a change.
Up next we travel to Stafford Rangers for what will be another massive away day against a side battling to stay in the division, we hope you can come and join us.
We Go Again.
Up The Breck.
