Great 3-1 win today for the Breck away to Waterloo Dock.

Started the game very well and put the ball on the floor moving it about with confidence.

With our opponents opting to go 3.5.2 it was imperative we moved the ball quick out wide and we did just that.

Our first goal coming down the left wing with Tom Kinsella & Joe Brookes linking up and it's was Brooksey who jinked inside and curled a cracker into the far corner to give us a deserved lead.

Just on half time we got a important second with Paul Mooney floating a neat strike just inside the post that the flat footed keeper couldn't get near.

HT 2-0

Second half we started really well and should have put the game outta sight but after a mix up between keeper & centre half we gifted the dock a goal.

Not before long we gave ourselves some breathing space and it was Louis Ventre coming off the bench who grabbed the 3rd and the game killer with a lovely effort coming in of the wing and sending a great finish to the far post.

We had many chances after too well and truly put the game outta sight but the final finish wasn't there but the quality football can't be faulted.

A big win for the lads today and one that moves us up the table and in a position we can push on from (just gutted we have no league game for 2 weeks).

Man of The Match went to skipper Kieran Hughes who had a great game in the centre of the park putting in a big 90 minute shift.

As I said no game for 2 weeks with there being county cup & reps games over the next few Saturday's.

We will be back in action Tuesday 29th when we face current league leaders Alder up on Wally Hall Park.
