A hard fought 1-1 draw tonight away to East Villa and a fair result for both on reflection.

Bright sun and crazy wind plus a awful bobbling pitch didn’t help both sides but we still made it a very entertaining game.

We had some good chances early on and with 20 minutes gone Villa had a man sent off for taking out Peter Donnelly who was going 1v1 on goal.

That only strengthened the Villa resolve and they got themselves a lead after a poor mistake at the back from ourselves.

HT 1-0

Second half it was all Breck with us pushing hard for a goal and it came with 20 minutes remaining after a Ben Garrity shot was cleared of the line Peter Donnelly followed it up tapping away from close range.

We tried hard to get a winner but all credit to Villa for putting in a heavy defensive shift to earn themselves a deserved point.

FT 1-1

As in previous weeks we wasn’t at our best tonight but our undefeated run keep going with our last defeat coming in February 2017 (a massive achievement from all the lads).

MOM went to Josh Molloy one important savw in the game and was unlucky with the goal against him after making a quality save from the first attempt.

We now play our final league game of the season on Saturday when we face Waterloo Dock up on ASCC a massive game to finish the season on the day we receive our league title ?

We Go Again.

Up The Breck...
