First half we played some decent stuff but we was just lacking the killer instinct we have been used to seeing week in week out but nevertheless we got ourselves a lead to take into half time.

Second half was more of the same but with the game opening up we created a little more but was still lacking that spark to get us fully firing.

But once again we managed to get another goal and it was Ben Garrity once again smashing one into the roof of the net from close range.

A few changes were made to try help us get a good hold on the game and we started to create a lot more openings but it wasn’t until late on that we got the killer third goal with the returning Franny Smith threading one through for Peter Donnelly who finished it of with classy finish.

Certainly wasn’t one of our better performances but that was also down to a strong resilient Xavs who deserve credit for pushing us all the way.

MOM today went to Johnny Swatton who was class at centre half...Calm, composed and solid throughout.

Up next it’s APH on Wednesday night when 3 points will secure the league title.
