Another massive win today beating a very good Knowsley North side 4-2 in the George Mahon Semi Final to secure our 3rd cup final date in May.

Once again we wasn’t at the races early doors and Knowsley North were right on us but we seen of there early pressure and went ahead with Brodie Kearns delivering a ball for Peter Donnelly to slot home.

A mistake on the edge of own box just before half time gifted Knowsley a freekick which was dispatched with a cracking strike.

HT 1-1

After the break we looked a lot sharper and got ourselves a lead with Brodie Kearns beating the keeper after a Marc Stephens through ball.

Peter Donnelly added a third but our own sloppyness was to cost us yet again and we was pegged back to 3-2.

The game was end to end for the remaining 15 minutes but we final killed the game off when Peter Donnelly finished from close range after a quality Jamie Henders delivery.

FT 2-4

Another big result for us and on winning today we’ve secured our 3rd cup final date in May and with the league title still up for grabs we are still fighting on all four trophies fronts we set out on at the start of the season.

Man Of The Match today went to Riki Agar who put in a immense performance and after a nasty injury in the first half sucked it up and completed the full 90 ...Tom Kinsella also gets a mention for his work rate throughout the game ?.

Back at it Tuesday night when we face APH up on Wally Hall.

We Go Again.

Up The Breck...
