It was after a few close efforts with some great last ditch challenges from the nalgo centre half keeping us from opening the scoring we finally got the breakthrough.

Peter Donnelly getting on the end of a Brodie Kearns cross to put us one up and not long after it was two with Peter turning provider for Jamie Henders to knock home.

A cracking team goal followed which started at the feet of our keeper with the ball bring shifted about all over the pitch the final ball in was a whipped delivery from Jamie Morton and it was Jamie Henders who put it away with a quality close range finish.

HT 3-0

Second half we wasn’t on it but still could have put many more of our early chances away and by not taking them we gave Nalgo confidence and they took it by grabbing a goal back.

We quickly responded and it was Peter Donnelly and Jamie Henders linking up yet again with Peter finishing of the move before a sloppy goal was conceded on our behalf give Nalgo another glimmer of a fight back.

But with less then 10 minutes remaining we got the killer 5th goal and another quality team effort it was with Louis Austin jinking away from his men taking a few kicks in the process he sent a ball over for Jamie Henders who unselfishly knocked it back for Marc Stephens too tap it home.

FT 5-2

Another big result for us today with our nearest rivals dropping points so it’s job done for us and we move on to the next game.

Man Of Match went to Jamie Henders who got two goals & two assists today but it was his work rate also that was pleasing too see ????

Up next it a away trip to play Custys up on Flinders Street.

We Go Again.
