We didn't start the game well but still managed to get a lead after 30 minutes with Peter Donnelly tapping home after some great work from Louis Austin.

HT 1-0

Second half was more in our favour but Villa got the equaliser there first half performance deserved but from our view losing the ball so easy in our own half was a gift.

We started playing it on the deck a bit better but our second goal was to come from a corner with Ben Garrity heading home from a Brodie Kearns delivery.

With 15 minutes remaining another error on our behalf on the edge of the box gifted Villa there second to draw it level once again.

We had 3/4 great chances to take all there points but some good saves from the Villa keeper kept the game level and that's how it finished and on reflection a fair result.

FT 2-2

As said not the way we wanted too start the season but that's down too our opponents performance and with us putting in our worst team showing for a very long time but we still come away with a point and we have too take that positive from the game.

Man Of Match went to Luke Stephens for putting in a solid performance at the back.

Unfortunately no game next week for us with the league having to postpone the fixture so next league game will be a week Saturday.
