Another great win for the lads today and our 11th on the spin as we beat the Byrom 5-0 away.

Got of to a great start causing problems straight away and it was a jinking Peter Donnelly run that got us our first opening after he was brought down inside the box.

Up stepped Jay Colbeck to dispatch the penalty.

Goals two & three quickly followed with Chrissy Mcgann on hand to put away both.

The first after a splendid Paul Mooney ball and the second after a great bit of play down the right were Ben Garrity was on hand to deliver a ball for Chris to fire home with a cool calm finish.

We had plenty of chances throughout the half to put the game to bed but the keeper and woodwork denied us on a few occasions.

HT 3-0

Byrom came out for the second half with plenty of fight and created a few openings but we looked dangerous every time we had the ball and got our fourth and it was Jamie Henders getting the goal his performance deserved.

Tom Kinsella delivering the ball for Jamie who rounded the keeper and slotted home with ease.

Our fifth followed soon after and it was the returning Micky Darcy who was hand to put it away after a Jamie Henders lay off.

FT 5-0

So another massive 3 points against a tough Byrom side who are always dangerous regardless of the scoreline.

But to give our lads credit they looked very good for the points and got another deserved clean sheet also.

Man Of Match award went to Jamie Henders who put in another unselfish performance from the front.

Joe Brookes also deserves a mention for his quality showing.

Up next a massive LCFA County Cup tie as we face current champions South Liverpool up on Lower Breck 3G.

We go again.

Up The Breck...
