A cracking 3-1 win for the lads tonight against Bootle Reserves in a game played in shocking weather conditions.
Started very well and went 1-0 through Jamie Henders who slotted home after a great ball from Tom Kinsella.
Our 2nd come soon after with Chrissy Mcgann cracking home a great strike from outside the box after a lay of from Ben Garrity.
Goal number three and the pick of the bunch came from a delightful chip from Jamie Henders after he was put through with a ball from Brodie Kearns.

Second half we has plenty more chances but just like in the first we was a little wasteful.
Bootle never stopped trying to play there football and got there reward late on with a well deserved goal.

Credit to both sides tonight who despite the horrendous conditions never stopped trying to play football in the right way (both sides a credit to our clubs).
We now move onto the quarter final when we face South Liverpool next February.
Man Of The Match today had a few contenders but it was Jack McCarthy who got the vote for his solid display at the back.
