This Saturday we will also be welcoming the ladies from Mersey Brook Education who run the “Period Poverty” campaign.
Whilst this subject doesn’t relate to men’s football the growth of woman’s football in the country and also the issues relating to girls who may play the game not being able to afford sanitary product is a subject that been recently raised across the country.
Brook’s campaign and what they are doing in conjunction with Anfield Sports will see free sanitary products available to girls around sports venues throughout the country and with football grounds now supporting this initiative it’s something as a club were happy to promote and support also.
Whilst we don’t get many girls down to watch the football at ASCC this could provide the perfect opportunity to attend to see what Brook Education can do for you.
All home game our FREE to under 16s
