Chance Creation Domination As We Cut Open Kendal...

A cracking game of football yesterday and a great advert for non league seen us beat Kendal Town 4-3 after going behind three times.

Started the game reasonably well with the ball, good tempo and movement seen us create good opportunities with James Murphy and Lewis Buckley warming the keepers palms but it was Kendal who got the opener.

A great delivery from a corner was met by a powering header leaving Theo with no chance in goal, poor from us to see a free header go in but you gotta applaud the delivery and movement.

A cracking response first off seen Spud hit the foot of the post, Fitzy sent one high over the bar ,Jay Salkeld forced the keeper into a quality close range save and it should have been Breck going infront after sweeping move cut Town open but a tame end to it seen the keeper save comfortable.

It wasn’t till the 40th minute we got the equaliser with Lewis Buckley latching onto a Liam Morris ball and after great composure from the big man we was level and it was only what we deserved.

Against the run of play, but a cracking strike never the less seen Kendal go 2-1 up, poor from us having three opportunities to win a header and with the third one being weak the ball found its way onto the left and a cracking finish was sent home.

Despite the scoreline a great half and one we could have been out of sight from the glorious chances created.
HT 1-2
Second half we came out strong and should have been level, a lovely bit of football resulted in a ball being whipped in from the left and Tom McNamara glanced his header agonisingly wide.

Connor Millo was next to try his luck but sent his effort high over the bar but it wasn’t long before we found the equaliser, James Spud Murphy driving one low and hard past the Town keeper, the goal coming after great work from Fitzy down the right.

It was all Breck and we had Town under the cosh, Lewis Buckley the next to test the keepers palms with a strike straight down his throat.

Kendal got themselves back in front with another sucker punch for us, Tom Mc working hard to win the ball back turned into danger and as it was threaded through to the frontman who rounded Theo and despite his best efforts to save it the ball just got over the line before Josh Dobie could clear and Town were back level.

Another instant response seen Moonshine crack the post from 30 yards out with a trademark freekick which was swiftly followed by the outstanding Liam Morris forcing the keeper into a stunning save.

It was Morris who was then fouled in the box after trying to create a yard for a shot, with the penalty awarded Moonshine stepped up and smashed one home to make it 3-3.

Two minutes later it was the winner for Breck, with Town turning the ball over in the middle of the park, Spud took control and slotted a great ball through for Lewis Buckley and after Bucko took it in one vs one he made no mistake with a cracking finish and gave us the lead we thoroughly deserved.

A near instant response from Town came to nothing and then the lads had to manage the game for the remaining 10 minutes which they done very well.

FT 4-3 WOW

Some game of football and a great advert for the game at this level.

Montage Memorabilia MOM went to Liam Morris who I thought was outstanding in the middle of the park and his performances have been getting better and better each week…????

Also a mention for Lewis Buckley who led the line magnificently and got two goals for his shift, a quality addition Bucko has been.

As always thanks to all those who popped along to the game, great to see some old faces back and new once also and massive thanks to those from Kendal Town who travelled, great support and good folk also…??

Back in action Wednesday night when we make the short trip to Litherland Remyca unless the Jack Frost don’t beat us again.

We Go Again.

Up The Breck…❤️
