BRECK BOUNCE BACK WITH DOMINANT PERFORMANCE

A great performance yesterday beating a young but very good Longridge Town side 3-1.

Started the game very well and had numerous chances to go in front.

Jay Salkeld and Liam Morris having the best of them with Jay going in one v one but being thwarted by the Town keeper, before Morris blazed over from 10 yards out when he really should have done better.

The deserved opener came from a freekick 20+ plus yards out, and it was that man Paul Mooney floating in another trademark peach.
The lead was doubled with Liam Morris the provider for Connor McCarthy who tapped in from close range after a great delivery from Moz.

A good half from the lads and dominant throughout.

HT 2-0

Three substitutions for Longridge at half time and a change in formation gave them more control but we still had plenty of the ball to hurt them, a little sloppy turning over possession was our issue but we kept going and gotta cracking team goal.

Walshy driving from his own half to the edge of the Longridge box and after some neat and tidy footy he hit a shot that came straight back to us and after a little bit more one,two football the ball was slotted through to Connor Mccarthy who sent home a cracking finish.

The only disappointment was no clean sheet from Theo as we gave away a goal late on.

FT 3-1

Another very good performance and for the best part in control and with plenty of chances created also there was many positives throughout.
Montage Memorabilia MOM went to Paul Kylffin who was faultless in the middle of the park on his home debut for the Breck.

Connor McCarthy more than worthy of a mention for his performance also, running the line and grabbing two goals to cap a great shift from the front.
