BAD BRECK BACK AGAIN

A poor showing from the lads yesterday and easily beaten 3-0.

Connor Rankin had a glorious opportunity in the opening minutes but didn’t get any decent connection on it and in truth that was really as good as it got.

Missed the first goal as was helping our opponents pump there footys up but seen the tap it at the back post, we was easily cut open after two mistakes (am told).

Second goal awful from us and was consistent with how we performed defensively going up for headers, not winning many with no cover behind, wide open as a result and despite a terrific one v one save from Theo Roberts he was helpless for the second attempt the attacker had.

HT 0-2

Second half was similar to the first, cut apart with ease once or twice and looking like a defensive unit that didn’t no each other.

Going forward slightly better but the attacking options we had were also second best on the day.

Padiham had a man sent off with 20 minutes remaining and we still didn’t mange a clear attempt on there goal which says it’s all and a sucker punch late for the 10 men that should never happen.

In truth a toothless,voiceless performance and the lads were rightly told at full time and the inconsistency we have at present won’t be accepted for much longer as there is no excuse or hiding when you put in a showing like that and walk away with a envelope also.

Montage Memorabilia MOM Theo Roberts, made 2/3 very good saves and could do nothing with the goals.

Not many traveled due to the Derby (thankfully) but to those who did we thank you for your support as always.

Another tough away day at Barnoldswick next Saturday as we look to bounce straight back and get a run going that’s needed before the top 5 gets to far away.
