A 1-1 draw away at AFC Liverpool last night and a fair point/result.
Slow to start but we controlled the ball for large parts just a little sloppy and lack of composure in the final third the issue.
HT 0-0
Second half got off to a great start scoring from a whipped in James Murphy corner with the Connor Rankin meeting the header and the ball looping of someone else (I think) and ending up in the net.
For the next ten minutes we was looking quality all over, moving the ball about with real purpose and looking likely to get a second but AFC started to commit more men and after a under hit ball was intercepted we was countered and punished, a poor goal to give away but you could sense it coming.
AFC had some great moments to grab a second whilst we had some efforts comfortably saved by the keeper.
FT 1-1
As stated a fair point on the night but can’t help but feel we have let another two slip away after taking a lead and with so much possession in the final third of the pitch we have to start making it count.
Montage Memorabilia Michael Fitzgerald once again who was neat and tidy in possession and looked to get us playing in the right areas also and after carrying on with a knock.
Paul Mooney was also a presence on his return after missing the last 14 games and Liam Morris yet again was classy in his work.
As always thanks to the supporters who cousin make the trip with us, some great vocal support as always.
Next up we pay our first visit to Wythenshaw on Saturday afternoon 3pm kick off, we hope you can join us.
We Go Aagin.
Up The Breck…❤️
