CLASSIC AWAY DAY AS WE GO BACK TO BACK AT CHADDY

A outstanding team performance to come away from Chadderton with a 1-0 win last night and to a man absolute quality all over.
The only goal of the game came from a Connor Rankin penalty on 16 minutes after he had been taken out just as he was about to get a shot off, Con cooly slotting it away.

First the rest of the half we was largely dominate but only tested the keeper with one big chance.

HT 1-0

Second half while Chadderton looked to peg us back we once again had the biggest moments/chances of the half with Connor Rankin having three glorious opportunities to make it a more comfortable evening with each one a mirror image of him going on one v one, but he just lacked the composure/finish on each occasion, but a shift the big man put in.

FT 1-0

A team performance to be proud of with some resolute defensive work from front to back being the key with lads in each position working for each other in all areas of the pitch.

A hard one to call as there was so many quality performances but the Montage Memorabilia MOM went to Liam Morris at right back, when he plays like that you won’t find many words to express his showing other than “top draw” from the lad.

Many others as mentioned but a massive team effort it certainly was and from the management side also, we earned our late night chippy that’s for sure.
